Accredited by the United Kingdom Accreditation Service (UKAS) to ISO/IEC 17065 and ISO/IEC 17024, certification from TWI CL enables organisations and individuals to demonstrate their product, process or personal compliance with national and international standards and regulations.

TWI CL offers certification in a variety of areas in accordance with several international standards. They are:

Welding Fabricator Certification Scheme (WFCS)
Enables welding fabricators to demonstrate compliance with ISO 3834 and provide independent verification of their welding and fabrication capabilities.

Conformity Assessment of the Execution of Steel and Aluminium Structures (CAESAS)
Providing manufacturers with the ability to UKCA/CE(UKNI) or CE mark their products facilitating their placement on the UK or EU market.

Certification for Welding of Railway Vehicles and Components (CWRVC)
Third party certification in compliance with EN 15085 an increasing requirement for contract award or approved supplier status within the rail industry.

Certification of Manufacture of Special Materials (CMSM)
Provides organisations the ability to demonstrate competence and experience in the manufacturing of special materials and the properties required by the application standards and specifications.

Certification Scheme for Welder Training Organisations (CSWTO)
Enabling organisations to show, through third-party independent assessment, that their staff and facilities meets best practise in welding training.

Welder Qualifications and Welding Procedure Qualification Records (WPQRs)
Enabling welders, brazers, and their employers to demonstrate their compliance with specific standards, regulations or client specifications.

Certification Scheme for Personnel (CSWIP)
Certification for individuals who wish to demonstrate their competence in a variety of engineering areas from welding inspection to NDT to cathodic protection and even more in-between!

2023 also brings a fresh new look for TWI CL too! Launched last year, TWI CL is delighted to announce that it will begin rolling out the use of its new logo. Those holding company certification can expect to see brand new documentation – including their certificates and schedules – with the new logo. Remember all certifications can be validated and verified through TWI CLs online system available here. Please note that the CSWIP and BGAS-CSWIP logos remain the same.
