Our Certification Scheme for Welder Training Organisations (CSWTO) enables colleges and private training providers to show, through third party independent assessment, that their staff, facilities, equipment and procedures meet best practise. Supported by CSWIP Welding Instructor and CSWIP Welding Examiner Certification, CSWTO is a mark of competence for delivering Welder and Brazer training and assessment.
There are many benefits to be utilised from this certification, such as;
- Quality assurance of the organisations training facilities, equipment, teaching materials and procedures.
- Increased client confidence in the services delivered.
- In-house training can increase revenue and cut external costs.
- Competence assurance and CPD opportunities for the organisations trainers/lecturers.
- The organisation is given the title of ‘CSWTO Approved Centre’ and provided with a plaque to place on the wall as a clear message to staff, students, and clients of their achievement.
- Once certification has been achieved, the organisation can apply for approval as a CSWIP Welder Examination Venue, allowing their CSWIP Welding Examiner(s) to witness Welder Qualifications for their staff and students on behalf of TWI Certification Ltd (TWI Cert) in accordance with international standards.
- End point assessments for level 2 Welder requires 2 practical Welder Qualifications, Level 3 Plate Welder needs 3 Welder Qualifications, Level 3 Pipe Welder needs 4 Welder Qualifications. CSWTO approved centres can now do all of these in house. The TWI Cert certificates meet the requirements of EPA gateway.
- As a Recognised Third-Party Organisation (RTPO), we enable approved centres to conduct testing in-house, eliminating the additional costs of seeking external third-party approvals.
